Chimera Club
Fall 2025 Girls Mentorship Program
through Wild Rivers Collective
What is a Chimera?
(in Greek mythology) a fire-breathing female monster with a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail.
She is a living, breathing contradiction! She isn't just one way, one style, but is a magical display of
many different creatures put together

Come Discover your Unique Chimera of Being!
Join a group of girls navigating the joyful, awful,
and sometimes bizarre terrain we call Pre-Adolescence.
Here, there is space for you! The real, shapeshifting, dazzling Chimera of you.
Come experience the beauty of belonging just as you are.

Three Pillars of the Chimera Club
Mindfulness Training: Tracking the Wild Moment
Learn how to surf the waves of the present moment, letting curiosity and concentration keep you in your calm, steady center. From this place, no fear or anxiety can shake you.
Freeing the River of Aliveness: Skillfully Navigating the Raw Energies of Emotion
Playfully embody and express all the many faces of you! When we can safely allow our feelings to be here, we find clarity, joy and creative possibilities in times of challenge and stuckness
Creative Expression honoring Self and Other: Finding Our Ways to Praise
Playing with myth, song, poetry, dance, and crafts, we find our unique ways of praising the Life we see in ourselves, in others, and in the more-than-human world.
Each week we will gather together as a council to explore, embody, express, craft, and share.
You will come away from this group in touch with joyful curiosity, bold confidence, inner clarity and peace, compassion for yourself and others, and wonder at the mysteries of life
We will dive deep into an original myth of the Chimera,
and let this story guide the ship of our journey
