Ways of Working
No Two People Heal the Same Way.
Rather than following a rigid formula, we'll stay curious together about what your experience is asking for. While every session is different, there are a few threads that tend to weave through my work.
Beginning with what's here.
We often start by slowing down and noticing what's happening right now—in your body, your emotions, your thoughts, and your surroundings. Rather than jumping straight into problem-solving, we create enough space to hear what your experience is trying to tell us.
Learning the Language of your Experience.
Sometimes we know we're overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck, but we don't yet know how to describe what's happening inside. Together, we gently become more familiar with your body's signals, emotions, images, and inner world, giving you more ways to understand yourself.
Finding New Possibilities.
As we slow down, you may begin to notice moments of choice where there once felt like none. Thoughts, emotions, body sensations, memories, and relationships all influence one another, and seeing those connections often opens new ways forward.
Practicing Curiosity instead of Judgment.
Curiosity has a remarkable way of softening what criticism often keeps stuck. Over time, we strengthen your ability to notice experience with openness rather than immediately trying to fix, analyze, or push it away.
Making Room for Every Part of You.
Some parts of us need to cry. Others need to laugh, sing, move, rest, rage, create, or simply be heard. We practice making space for the many ways life naturally wants to move through us, without becoming overwhelmed by them.
Finding Meaning in Your World.
Sometimes we discover that the challenges you're facing aren't just problems to solve—they're invitations into a new chapter of your life. Together, we listen for the deeper story that's trying to unfold.
